For over 15 years, Terry Carr has trained intensely in the Indonesian martial art of
Pencak Silat. To further his knowledge and experience Guru Terry's travels have taken him across the U.S. to Europe and Indonesia with the opportunity to study with several high level teachers, and being awarded the title of
guru in 2003.
After teaching martial arts in both Michigan and Hawaii, Guru Terry has relocated with his family to his home state of North Carolina, and is now offering private and semi-private instruction in Wilmington, N.C.
Instruction includes both internal and external development, as well as expertise in empty hand, impact and edged weapons.
